We've been in soi 1 many times and just passes by in order to visit cooking love or other superb restaurants. But this one is a real gem. Delicious and cheap, small and cozy. Sassy service. Try the "Chiang Mai noodle yellow curry" - it's almost a cross between kahnom jeen and khao soi- I've had it twice now!
