What a fantastic lunch. 12 Euros per person for a buffet starter, choice of main meal, cheese course and dessert, followed by coffee and including half a litre of wine. We could not fault the service from Baptiste, who does speak English as well. We took two children (3 and 7), and were charged just 7 Euros for them and they got apple juice (instead of wine!). We were tired and hungry and the menu here looked good so we grabbed a seat in the corner. The view here is good with lots of passerbys and the place was a warm respite from the drizzle outside. We had frites, escargot and an open face salmon and tomato sandwich. All that, plus wine added up to 31 Euros; not bad when you consider the location. Good service, good view. good food...
