Genuine Italian food, didn't understand a word but the food was wonderful! Really good value as the food was rather cheap.

Wow! The dinner I had at Osteria della lanterna was the best, and most genuine, I had in Milan. The woman who runs the restaurant cooks and serves amazing home cooked italian food. Letr her choose what you should order and you will end up with an amazing dinner (and be quite full when leaving). The prices are very low as well.

A great find. The older woman who runs the place is great! She'll rattle off the menu verbally to you so it definitely helps if you speak Italian or know a bit about the local specialties.
