While being popular for its thick-pan pizza cut in square portions, this restaurant is a real all-round favourite with locals, especially at lunch time, when it fills beyond belief and yet the staff copes with the workload with a smile and witty remarks. Also good value for money. To be recommended.

This was my first time to this restaurant. They do an amazing pizza in a deep pan. Like nothing I've had before. 1 slice was enough. They also do the gnocchi fritto which is very good. If you are in the area it's worth checking out. The place was packed.

La Cappelletta is a delightful old-fashioned neighbourhood place, bustling with families on a Sunday lunchtime. The staff were very patient with our limited Italian, and helped us to order two magnificent pizzas. Part of the problem is that Italian food in general is simply excellent. So it is difficult to stand out. La Cappelletta is a cool place with excellent pizzas and a very nice extended menu. The staff are very nice and the place heats up for lunch and dinner. We were expecting good and got very good to excellent. Well worth a visit and a stroll around the old Lambrate afterwards...
