I had dinner with an Italien colleague here. This probably was helpful, as I am not sure how much English the waiters spoke. The food was excellent and despite many tables being taken quickly served. Prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was also nice; obviously, the place is poplar with the locals.

I suppose I am typical of British tojhrists in that I expect all foreigners to speak English fluently. But part of the pleasure is to eat local cuisine and not to subject oneself to too many calamities. Visiting on a Sunday evening this place was busy, always a good sign. We ate there for the 3 nights we were in Rome,the food was delicious and the staff were great as we had difficulty with the menu. It is popular with the locals and if they come here the restaurant must be doing something right. The prices were very good too.35 Euros for 2 courses each and drinks.
