After our first full day in Rome the kids just wanted Gelati. Outside Spagna stations was Gelati and even we were tired as it was 32 degrees C. 3 lemon and one chocolate Gelati later we had quit kids, and calmer parents. Lemon were sweet but had a little bit of tang, chocolate was very dark and rich. I liked it but my wife thought it was too dark. Nice Gelati and good service.
By the entrance to the Metro we stopped for quick Gelato and wished we would have gone another few blocks to La Strega Nocciola
