DELIGHTFUL & REFRESHING ..... the Himalayan Joe Restaurants are always buzzing and full of people. A variety of comfortable seating and work stations for those that need to stay plugger in come on in. Great coffee's and teas, fruit juices, sandwiches their BLT is great, potato salad and killer brownies served warm loaded with walnuts melt in your mouth goodness.
I'm sure this place should be titled 'Himalayan Java' not Jeo. It is a modern coffee shop with a terrace overlooking the lake upstairs over a small shopping mall. More expensive than most places but good coffee, eggs, pastries, milk shakes etc Big draw back is a shared loo used by all the businesses in the mall and usually dirty!
A little out of the way place but seriously great coffee. A great team who will go out of their way to serve you.
My friends and I walk by Himalayan Joe everyday and we finally decided to stop in and see how it was because it looks cool from the outside. The coffee was very good-the portions were a little smaller than normal but the prices were also lower. 3 of us ordered drinks and they were out within 5 minutes and it was worth the time and money spent.
We went there for some drinks in the morning after our trek. The electricity was off so we could not drink coffee but I enjoyed a fresh juice and ice tea. It is a good place to meet some friends or to read a book. I also like the Urban Yeti Tshirt shop in the coffee. After the trek we needed some new clothes and these Tshirts were perfect.
Located in the heart of Lakeside, it's a tranquil spot with killer Joe. I'm not kidding. While in Pokhara I had 3 double caps there, and each was just outstanding. With their partner store urbanyeti sharing the space, it's hipster heaven. Also, I misspelled the name of the business...it's Joe, not Jeo.
