I like meat, don't get me wrong, but I could live on the tofu from this restaurant quite happily. Everything is delicious. Service is fantastic and the views out in to the garden are lovely. Love this place. Have visited twice and am already planning to go again on my next visit to Japan next year. If you are in the Arashiyama area - go here, you won't be disappointed.

This place is under the radar and very popular with locals. We seemed to be the only Americans during lunch; always a good sign! The green tea and soba flavored tofu were both delicious and the set lunch price was affordable.
