We tried this restaurant just by chance (or may be because we liked the balcony watching the lively street). We had a set lunch (3 courses including drinks buffet -cold and hot drinks-) and we found everything quite delicious. It has been a nice break in a busy day.
My wife and I enjoyed the set lunch. She had the fish and I had the pork. Sauces were fantastic. We sat outside and watched the rickshaws and geisha dressed women go by.
Ate here in a virtually deserted restaurant around 6pm in Arashiyama. Restaurant was located across the road from the street which led to the station. We were trying to get a place for lunch at Otsuka but the queue was just too long and as we had a train to catch we decided to go to another place. This quaint French restaurant was a lucky find.
