Buttercup cake was dry. Expresso lacked flavour. I probably wouldn't come back.

Had an English Breakfast tea and a banana and walnut muffin. They even warmed it up for me. Needed a phone charger for my dead iPhone and the store lent me one! Pleasant staff. Quiet ambiance.
I read about the Tastemaker in the papers some time back and decided to give it a try last Sunday, It's a quaint little cafe tucked under a block of old HDB flats in the working class neighbourhood of Bukit Ho Swee/ Havelock.
