I happened to pass by this small bar while waiting for a tour. The staff, one lady, was so friendly. She made me the best porchetta panini on focaccia bread. Added fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, lettuce. Toasted it just perfectly. The best thing I have had in a week in Italy. 7 euros plus whatever the Coke was. Excellent value in a city of tourist mediocrity....,wine, chees...

Stumbled across this lovely bar on our first day in Florence. The owner was so friendly and warm and made us feel incredibly welcome. He made us a 'special sandwich' which was seriously good - best sandwich we had during our 6 day stay in Florence. And the cheesecake with chocolate sauce is to die for!!! So so good that we went back twice more! Two amazing sandwiches, big glass...

This is a little gem, just off the hussle and bussle of tourist Florence. Service, wine and food, outstanding, this Italian version of the tapas bar is well worth the visit with outstanding quality of local cheese and salami. A must between art and shopping.
